About the job
The R&D; Data Quality team within the Analytics Lifecycle organization is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for the end-to-end development of SAS Data Quality applications and features — the key means of providing quality data to drive and feed SAS Analytics.
In this role, you will drive multiple product’s growth, evolution, and support by leading a high-performing team. You will have a significant impact in this strategically important area in the Analytics Lifecycle.
As a Manager, Software Development, you will:




Manage all aspects of the team, including development and testing, internal and external communication/collaboration, performance management and improvement, and skilled growth.
Understand the career objectives of your team members and support them on their journey to achieve them.
Work with product management, project management and development team to understand, refine, and scope for planned work.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality, customer-focused experiences.
Ensure that projects are completed and implemented in a timely manner while following established procedures and schedules.
Regularly communicate development and testing status, project risks, resource requirements and allocation, and other relevant knowledge with upper management.
