Urgent Requirement

Role: Sr. Java Engineer (Java + AWS)
Location:Pune, India. (Hybrid)
Experience Level: 7-9+ Years
Type: 6 Months
Shift: 10am - 7pm IST
Expected Start Date - 1st September 2026

Must Haves
- Strong Java engineer with micro-services experience
- Good working experience of AWS

-Tech savvy engineer - willing and able to learn new skills, track industry trends

-Strong programming skills with 6 + years’ experience

-Strong problem solving abilities. Good aptitude and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Service based architecture
- Understanding and working experience of

○ Java, Multi threading, thread pool

○ AWS EC2, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3, Redis, Cloud Watch

○ Web services - REST; Microservices; Domain driven architecture

○ Spring framework basics - IOC, DI

○ Spring Boot, other modules of Spring

○ API gateway like Apigee or similar

○ Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, SignalFx and other tools

Good to have
- Docker, Terraform
- Understanding of design patterns,



and common concepts such as caching, logging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, etc.

Desired Profile
- Excellent communication and coordination skills and client-facing experience
- Knows agile development best practices and has scrum exposure
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Quick learner, ability to perform well in ambiguity and with little supervision
- Ability to take ownership
- Exposure to cloud/ containers

Key skills:Java, AWS, Spring Boot, REST, MicroServices, API gateway, Web and HTTP understanding

Education:Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science/engineering or related areas.
