? We’re Hiring: Senior Research & Development Scientist – Chemistry

We are looking for an accomplished R&D; Scientist with deep expertise in Organic or Analytical Chemistry to lead method development, validation and new product development.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can translate scientific concepts into validated, scalable and commercially viable products.

Key responsibilities

- Lead research, formulation and new product-development programmes
- Develop and optimise analytical and chemical testing methods
- Design and execute method validation, including accuracy, precision, linearity, specificity, sensitivity, robustness and reproducibility
- Translate laboratory research into stable, scalable and market-ready products
- Define experimental protocols, SOPs, specifications and quality-control procedures
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, validation reports and development records
- Investigate technical challenges, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and external research partners
- Build, mentor and lead a multidisciplinary R&D; team
- Establish a structured, documentation-driven research and innovation culture

Candidate profile

- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a closely related discipline
- Strong, proven track record in method development and validation
- Demonstrated experience in new product development and technology commercialisation
- Solid understanding of analytical instrumentation and laboratory practices
- Ability to independently plan experiments,



interpret complex data and drive projects to completion
- Experience preparing SOPs, validation protocols, technical reports and product documentation
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and project-management capabilities

Preferred experience

- Prior development of novel analytical methods, chemical formulations, reagents or products
- Patents, publications, technology transfers or successfully commercialised innovations
- Experience in water-quality testing, colorimetric analysis, reagent chemistry, environmental monitoring, diagnostic products or analytical instruments
- Experience scaling laboratory formulations and processes for commercial manufacturing
- Familiarity with spectrophotometry, colorimetry, UV-VIS, AAS or related analytical techniques
- Experience collaborating with institutions such as CSIR, DRDO, NRDC, IITs or other research organisations

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously identified a scientific gap and converted it into a new method, proprietary formulation, novel product or commercially deployable solution.
