Role Description The Senior Relationship Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of priority clients, providing tailored banking and investment solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining regular contact with clients, identifying their financial needs, and recommending appropriate products and services while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The Senior Relationship
Manager collaborates with product, credit, operations, and digital teams to deliver seamless end-to-end service and support client onboarding, documentation, and transaction execution.
The role also requires active monitoring of portfolio performance, risk management, and contributing to business development initiatives and cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Solid knowledge of retail and business banking products, wealth management solutions, and basic investment and insurance offerings.
- Proficiency in sales planning, opportunity identification, and portfolio growth strategies, with a focus on cross-selling and upselling.
- Capability to interpret financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and support risk management and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse clients and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple client relationships and meeting performance targets.
- Comfort with using digital banking platforms, CRM tools, and standard office applications to manage client interactions and record activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or relevant qualified certifications (e.g., NISM for investment products) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in relationship management, priority banking, or wealth management within a regulated financial institution in India.
- Awareness of Indian banking regulations and SEBI-related guidelines, with a commitment to ethical conduct
