Senior QA Engineer

About Us: We are a profitable health-tech brand focusing on men's sexual wellness, scaling our revenue target from 5 cr to 40 cr this year. We have cracked Product-Market Fit and are now rebuilding our core engine to handle an 8x traffic multiplier. Because of our niche, user data is highly sensitive.

[Expected Compensation Range: ₹9,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum]

The Role: With 5-6 developers shipping code, manual QA is a massive bottleneck. We need a robust QA presence to prevent release dates from slipping or bugs reaching production as feature velocity increases.

Experience Range: 3 to 5 years in software testing, with a strong track record of transitioning manual workflows into automated suites.

Key Responsibilities:

● Build the Automation Suite: Lead the transition from manual, spreadsheet-tracked testing to automated End-to-End (E2E) testing using Cypress or Playwright. You will write the scripts that allow our developers to ship code with confidence.

● API Validation: Work closely with the backend team to write automated tests for our new event-driven queues and ERP integrations, ensuring patient data is always flowing correctly.

● CI/CD Gatekeeping: Collaborate with our DevOps engineer to integrate your automated test suites directly into our CI/CD deployment pipelines. Your tests will be the final guardrail before code hits production.

● Process Modernization:



Take ownership of our bug lifecycle. Transition the team away from chaotic chat messages, email threads and Google Sheets into a structured, prioritized workflow using established quality test workflow tools.

● Release Management: Act as the final quality gatekeeper for high-velocity feature releases, specifically ensuring that new features do not break core site functionality or compromise sensitive user data.

● Balance Speed & Quality: Thrive in a startup environment where you must balance thorough regression testing with the fast-paced shipping requirements of a scaling and fast moving organization.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

● Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience writing End-to-End (E2E) testing scripts using modern tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

● API Testing: Proficiency in validating backend responses and data payloads using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

● Pipeline Integration: Familiarity with hooking automated test suites into a CI/CD pipeline so they run automatically on every pull request.

● Defect Management: Strong organizational skills for logging, tracking, and prioritizing bugs in bug management tools rather than relying on chaotic spreadsheets.

● Startup Agility: The ability to balance thorough regression testing with the high-velocity release cycles of a startup.
