Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer who is highly hands-on with advanced Python development and has strong experience working on complex AI-based products. The candidate should be capable of supporting an existing production version while also contributing to the development of the next version of the product.

This role requires someone senior enough to independently troubleshoot production issues, improve code quality, handle complex backend logic, and contribute to scalable AI/ML product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Work on the AI product's V1 production support and V2 development in parallel.

- Troubleshoot production issues quickly and independently.

- Develop and maintain Python-based APIs and backend services.

- Work on complex AI/ML workflows, backend logic, and system integrations.

- Review, improve, and structure code for better scalability and maintainability.

- Collaborate with existing team members for knowledge transfer and smooth transition.

- Understand existing product architecture and quickly become productive.

- Handle multitasking across development, debugging, support, and enhancement work.

- Bring senior-level technical ownership to the AI engineering track.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Python at an advanced level.





- Experience building and maintaining Python APIs.

- Valuable understanding of backend architecture and scalable application design.

- Experience working on production systems and handling live issue resolution.

- Ability to debug complex issues across application logic, APIs, and data flows.

- Strong code structuring, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in AI/ML-based products or AI-enabled applications.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI/ML model integration into production applications.

- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.

- Exposure to LLMs, computer vision, or AI workflow automation.

- Experience with cloud deployment, logs, monitoring, and production debugging.

- Understanding of database-driven backend applications.

- Experience working on both new feature development and legacy system support.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a senior, hands-on engineer who can take ownership of complex AI/Python development work. The person should not only write code but also understand the system deeply, troubleshoot production problems, improve architecture, and support the team in building more advanced product capabilities.

This is not a junior/mid-level execution role. The expectation is for someone who can bring maturity, speed, and technical depth to the project.
