Role Description The Senior Mockup Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This position is responsible for leading the design and development of aluminium formwork mockups, including layout planning, structural detailing, and fitment validation for various building projects. The role involves translating architectural and structural drawings into precise formwork designs, coordinating with project engineers and site teams, and reviewing designs for safety, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.

The Senior Mockup Design

Engineer will oversee design documentation, perform quality checks on drawings and models, support installation teams with technical guidance,



and participate in design reviews to optimize construction workflows. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining design standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve engineering practices.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar) for structural and formwork design.
- Experience in aluminium formwork systems, structural detailing, and construction engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and convert them into accurate design mockups and layout plans.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices relevant to formwork and modern construction.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, site engineers, and design teams.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead design role within construction, civil engineering, or related domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced certifications in formwork design are an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Thane, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
