Roles & Responsibilities

- Independently manage multiple clients and vendors, overseeing the process from product development to final shipping of orders.
- Lead product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements and market trends.
- Execute and negotiate costing and pricing strategies for export and domestic orders.
- Oversee supply chain activities, including vendor selection, material sourcing, and timely procurement.
- Ensure all export and shipment planning obligations are met, working closely with commercial and logistics teams.
- Manage production planning and coordinate with production teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor and enforce quality assurance protocols throughout product lifecycle, up to final inspection and shipping clearance.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with buyers, suppliers, factories, and production teams for seamless communication and execution.
- Analyse market trends, sales data, and inventory levels to optimize merchandising plans and stock levels.

Educational Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Textile

Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Preference is given to candidates with exposure to working in buying houses.

Mandatory Skills

- 6-8 years of experience in apparel merchandising, with significant exposure toboth factory and buying house environments.
- Knowledge of product development, material sourcing, costing, and pricing strategies in apparel export businesses.
- Solid experience in supply chain, vendor management, and logistics planning for export shipments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent coordination and relationship-building skills with internal teams

(production, design), buyers, and external suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems for order tracking and inventory management.
- Robust analytical, time management, with the ability to multitask across complex projects.
