About the Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Domain Expert with strong experience in manufacturing processes, shopfloor operations, Industry 4.0, MES and industrial digitalization.

The role will work closely with our Sales, Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, Technology and Project Delivery teams to bring deep manufacturing domain knowledge into the design and implementation of digital solutions.

The candidate will help the team understand how a manufacturing plant operates, how processes flow across the shopfloor, what data is generated, where operational challenges exist, and how technology can be applied to improve productivity, quality, maintenance and efficiency.

This is a manufacturing domain and solution development role — not a sales role.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Domain Expertise

Understand and map end-to-end manufacturing processes across the plant.

Provide expertise on production, quality, maintenance, stores, material movement, planning and shopfloor operations.

Understand processes across machines, production lines, operators, supervisors, quality and maintenance teams.

Identify operational pain points, process gaps and opportunities for digitalization.

Define manufacturing workflows, business rules, KPIs and operational requirements.

Support Solution & Product Development

Work with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Technology teams to convert manufacturing requirements into technology solutions.

Define functional requirements for MES, Shopfloor Digitalization, OEE, Quality, Maintenance, IIoT and Manufacturing Analytics solutions.

Review solution designs from a manufacturing-process perspective.

Ensure that proposed technology solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with real shopfloor operations.





Support development teams with manufacturing domain knowledge during solution design and implementation.

Validate developed functionality against actual manufacturing processes and use cases.

Support Project Execution

Work closely with Project Managers, BAs, developers and implementation teams during project execution.

Support process mapping, requirement validation, functional design, UAT and solution acceptance.

Help resolve manufacturing-process-related issues during implementation.

Review project deliverables from a manufacturing domain perspective.

Support deployment and adoption of digital solutions at customer plants.

Support Sales & Customer Discussions

Support Sales and Presales teams with manufacturing domain expertise during customer discussions.

Participate in customer workshops, plant visits and discovery sessions when required.

Help understand customer processes and identify potential digital use cases.

Provide inputs for solution proposals, demonstrations and business cases.

Help the team communicate technology solutions in terms of actual manufacturing outcomes and business value.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has worked closely with manufacturing plants and understands manufacturing processes from the ground up.

The person should be able to:

Understand the manufacturing process → Map the workflow → Identify the problem → Define the digital requirement → Guide the technology team → Validate the solution → Support successful implementation.

The ideal candidate could come from backgrounds such as:

MES Consultant | Manufacturing Consultant | Industry 4.0 Consultant | Digital Manufacturing Consultant | Manufacturing SME | MES Functional Consultant | Smart Manufacturing Specialist | Industrial Automation / Digitalization Specialist The primary responsibility is to bring deep manufacturing domain knowledge into our technology solutions, product development and project execution, while supporting Sales and Customer-facing teams when manufacturing expertise is required.
