Role Objective

1. Ability to lead the overall distribution payouts vertical involving computation of all payouts to corporate and individual agents and employees. Ensuring that every payout is as per approved design and delegated authority matrix. Role would also require enabling business and partners along with ensuring that the organization does the right thing at the end.
2. One is expected to play both roles of business facilitator and controller as per the situation.
3. Sustain a successful relationship with the partner, characterized by a high level of strategic alignment & tactical engagement in the life insurance business especially in an open architecture setting

Core Responsibilities

- To ensure strict following of processes; to improve process further to bring efficiency
- Responsible for the R&R;/Contest payouts to Intermediaries & Employees/ Incentive payouts of various channels.




- Understand the PMS design & calculate the Incentive payout basis the approved PMS design.
- Responsible for analyzing the process & MIS reports to identify trend & opportunities for improvement
- Adhering to internal process norms about payout
- Monthly expense accruals for Contest, Incentive & special payouts.
- To ensure strict following of processes; to improve process further to bring efficiency
- To ensure Accuracy & TATs of all the payouts and reports to be published periodically
- To carry out system improvements, Automation of Incentive / Contest payouts
- To deal with Internal, external (IRDA) and statutory auditors

Qualification (Education And Experience)

- Post graduate / graduate from a tier 1 / tier 2 institute
- 7-8 years (of which min 5 yrs in Life Insurance Industry)

Technical Skills

- Ability to review complex, voluminous payout files and create processes for arithmetic accuracy
- Ability to implement/interpret the contest/R&R; design
- MIS and presentation skills
- Stakeholder management
