Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Jewellery Sales role based in Vadodara.

The Senior Jewellery

Sales professional will greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations across gold, diamond, and other jewellery collections.

Responsibilities include demonstrating product features, explaining pricing and certifications, handling billing and documentation, and ensuring accurate display and stock maintenance in the showroom. The role involves guiding junior sales staff, supporting visual merchandising, and contributing to daily sales targets and customer follow-ups.

Qualifications

- Strong jewellery sales and retail customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Knowledge of gold purity, diamond grading, hallmarking, and basic jewellery certifications, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in billing, basic computer operations, and handling point-of-sale systems and documentation.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with clear, courteous, and confident presentation.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff, and working collaboratively in a showroom or retail team environment.
- Attention to detail in product handling, display arrangements, and inventory checks to minimize errors and losses.
- Prior experience in jewellery or luxury retail sales is highly preferred; candidates with strong general retail sales experience may also be considered.
- Minimum high school education; a diploma or degree in commerce, business, or a related field is an advantage.
