#UrbanUpdate is expanding its editorial team and looking for talented professionals to work across urban journalism, policy analysis and multimedia content in Janakpuri, New Delhi.
What you’ll do
? Write deep-dive, long-form stories on urban planning, climate resilience and institutional development.
? Script and produce original video content for YouTube and social media.
? Analyse government master plans, municipal budgets and public policies and make them accessible to a wider audience.
? Build strong networks with mayors, municipal commissioners, think tanks and civic innovators.
? Mentor junior reporters and researchers in investigative writing and video scripting.
What we’re looking for
? 5+ years of journalism experience, preferably in deep reporting, public policy or enterprise journalism.
? Solid video scripting and visual storytelling skills.
? Excellent writing and analytical abilities.
? Understanding of municipal governance, urban sustainability and civic issues.
? Ability to work across both text and video platforms.
