About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Procedure Support
Assist consultants/embryologists during fertility procedures such as OPU (Ovum Pick-Up), Embryo Transfer, IUI, Hysteroscopy, and minor gynaecological procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures — counseling, vitals check, consent verification, and pre-procedure protocols.
Ensure OT readiness — sterilization, equipment check, and instrument arrangement before each procedure.
Provide post-procedure care, monitoring, and recovery support.
Assist in emergency response and handle procedural complications as per clinical protocol.
2. Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, and consent forms.
Update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) / case files after every procedure.
Ensure documentation complies with NABH/clinic regulatory standards.
Maintain OT registers, procedure logs, and patient tracking sheets.
3. Injections & Medication Administration
Administer prescribed injections (IM/SC) including hormonal stimulation medications as per treatment protocol.
Educate patients on self-injection techniques where applicable.
Ensure correct dosage, storage, and administration timing per doctor's orders.
Monitor and document patient response to medication.
4. Scanning Support
Assist doctors during ultrasound/follicular scans.
Prepare patients and equipment for scanning sessions.
Maintain scan schedules and coordinate patient flow.
5. Stock & Inventory Management
Daily monitoring of consumables, medicines, and OT stock levels.
Maintain stock registers and flag reorder requirements in advance.
