Required Skills: Facility Technical Executive with expertise in Compliance Audits, Fire Safety Audits, Electrical Audits, HVAC systems, and Fire Protection systems, a well-rounded candidate capable of conducting comprehensive facility audits.
REPORTING TO: Facility Manager & Technical Manager
POSITION GOALS The Shift Engineer will be responsible for managing technical aspects of the facility/property management service delivery system at the client office. In this capacity, the Shift Engineer is accountable for:
- To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices;
- Assist AME in managing M&E; scope of the operations to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time;
- Assist AME in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client.
- Assist AME for achieving financial and other targets established by the Facilities Manager;
- Assist AME to Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.
- To ensure engineering guidelines are implemented and followed religiously
Duties & Responsibilities
Operations
- Support AME for managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Plumbing installations maintenance within the facility;
- Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer's recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams;
- Implement and oversee the preventive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment;
- Assist AME to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E; Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations;
- Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all MEP installations;
- Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns and prepare incident report within close of business day.
- Arrange for ad-hoc M&E; set ups as per the client requirement from time to time;
- Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client;
- Assume AME responsibilities if need arises;
- Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters;
- Responsible for daily reporting on MEP to AME.
- Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipments;
- Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables;
- Assist AME in processing and tracking of all AMC and adhoc invoices and payments.
- Upload all the relevant reports on share drive and common access drive.
- Assist AME to Maintain and updates all Operational and Maintenance Manuals.
- Assist AME to Maintain and updates all as built drawings.
- Co-ordinate Business Continuity Plans.
- Assist AME to prepare waste disposal and recycling report.
- Carry out painting, polishing and minor repair works like wall touch up, carpet replacement etc.
- Assist and co-ordinate health and safety procedure.
- Management and replenishment of first Aid boxes.
- Management and maintenance of all AED installed in the premises.
- Assist AME in general facilities requests like hanging pictures or painting in the premises.
- Assist and co-ordinate fire safety procedures including evacuation.
- Management and replenishment of fire Marshal kit.
- Updating of all emergency contact details including list of critical vendors, first Aiders, AEDs and fire marshal on monthly basis.
