Role ObjectiveOwn the end-to-end international procurement process for imported components and raw materials, with a strong focus on China sourcing, supplier negotiation, landed-cost optimisation, shipment planning and inventory availability.

Key Responsibilities· Identify, evaluate and develop international suppliers, particularly in China and Southeast Asia.

· Manage RFQs, commercial negotiations, supplier selection and PO placement.

· Negotiate price, MOQ, payment terms, lead time, Incoterms and freight terms.

· Prepare and evaluate complete landed-cost calculations, including product cost, freight, insurance, duty, clearing and other applicable charges.

· Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders and internal teams for smooth import execution.

· Track production, shipment schedules, ETD/ETA and material availability.

· Plan imports considering 45-day credit cycles, lead times and inventory requirements.

· Monitor international commodity/pricing movements and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Develop alternate suppliers and reduce dependency on single-source vendors.





· Handle supplier performance issues relating to quality, delivery and commercial commitments.

· Maintain import procurement MIS, supplier database and cost history in ERP.

· Work closely with Finance, Stores, Quality, Production and Sales teams.

Must-Have Skills· 5–8 years of procurement experience with significant import/international sourcing exposure.

· Solid China sourcing experience preferred.

· Good understanding of FOB, CIF, EXW, LC, advance payment, credit terms etc.

· Strong negotiation and commercial skills.

· Understanding of customs, freight and import documentation.

· Ability to calculate landed cost independently.

· Strong Excel/ERP skills.

· Good communication and vendor-management skills.
