- Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule of all equipment /system and their timely implementation.
- To identify and conduct SOP training for engineering technician according to their job responsibilities.
- Co-coordinating with production/QA department for Maintenance/ Breakdown of process area machines.
- To guide and train technicians while doing and activity.
- To coordinate and interact with other departments for planning of various activities related to engineering department.
- To ensure the on job safety of technicians and external vendor labor by providing appropriate PPE’s.
- To raise the safety work permit i.e. Hot/Cold/Height/Confined space prior to starting any job through any external contractor.
- To motivate subordinates so as to increase their productivity and decrease the breakdown/shutdown time.
- To plan, execute and supervise preventive/predictive/breakdown/repair/ modification/

Validation/Re-qualification and calibration activities as per schedule.

- To ensure that SOP’s shall be followed during maintenance of equipment’s.
- To send the material to outside contractor/vendor for repairing/calibration/modification whenever required
- To ensure timely execution of all internal/external/OJT training to subordinates
- Issuance and Retrievals of Log books for Preventive maintenance of equipments of related areas and to maintain building and facility as per GMP requirements.




- Responsible for Commissioning and installation of current equipment’s /system.
- To suggest any change, modification, renovation required or cost saving, increases in productivity, beneficial to production and easy maintenance.
- To ensure the availability of critical spares in advance and commonly usable spares in engineering stores.
- To arrange and provide the spares/consumables to technicians/service engineer as per requirement.
- To report the major abnormality in any equipment/system/building & facility to HOD engineering.
- To give Personnel qualification training for employee as per their requirement.
- To ensure the timely completion of compliance as per predefined timelines of self-

audit/QCMT audit / external audit (Customer/Regulatory)/Walkthrough.

- Ensure all time readiness of the site for Regulatory inspections, Customer audits and

Corporate Quality audits.

- Adhere to Data integrity policy and attending data integrity periodic review meetings.
- Handling & Escalation any observations to higher management as per SOP matrix.
- To handle the SAP system for procurement of spares, breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- To ensure data integrity, GMP and GDP compliance.
- To ensure monitoring of plant performance indicators.
- To ensure statutory, legal and safety compliances.
- To ensure training and development of the people.
