- Technical About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &
- Operations (F&O;) Technical Consultant to design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O; ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of functional business requirements and technical delivery, and is ideal for someone who can lead development efforts, mentor junior team members, and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations, extensions, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &
- Operations (F&O;).
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs, including data models, workflows, and system architecture.
- Develop using X++, C#, .NET, and the Dynamics 365 F&O; development framework (Visual Studio, Application Explorer, LCS).
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Data Entities, OData, Business Events, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Dual-Write/Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting/debugging of existing and new customizations.
- Manage solution lifecycle activities including version control (Azure DevOps), build/release pipelines, and environment management (Sandbox, Production, UAT).
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business analysts to ensure technical solutions align with business processes.




- Lead technical design workshops and provide input into solution architecture decisions.
- Support upgrade, migration, and performance tuning activities for existing D365 F&O; implementations.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and consultants.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
- Provide post-go-live support, including issue resolution and hotfix deployment.

Required Skills &
- Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 Finance &
- Operations.
- Strong proficiency in X++ development, along with C# and .NET Framework.
- Experience with Data Entities, DMF, OData services, and Business Events for integrations.
- Solid understanding of the D365 F&O; architecture, including AOT, security framework, workflows, and SSRS reporting.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, and release pipelines.
- Familiarity with LCS (Lifecycle Services) for environment and deployment management.
- Experience integrating D365 F&O; with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
- Understanding of core Finance and/or Supply Chain Management modules is highly desirable.
- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise between technical and functional teams.
