Job Summary

The Counter Staff is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting premium eyewear, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the luxury optical store. The role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a qualified appearance.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service
- Welcome customers warmly and create a premium shopping experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable eyeglass frames, sunglasses, and optical accessories.
- Assist customers with frame selection based on face shape, style preferences, and prescription requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service professionally.

Sales & Product Assistance
- Promote and sell luxury eyewear brands and optical products.
- Explain product features, lens options, coatings, and benefits.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Upsell premium lenses, accessories, and maintenance products.

Store Operations
- Maintain attractive product displays and store cleanliness.




- Ensure frames and sunglasses are properly arranged and merchandised.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and organizing new stock.

Billing & Administration
- Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Generate invoices and maintain sales records.
- Schedule eye examination appointments when required.
- Maintain customer databases and follow-up records.

Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on luxury eyewear collections and fashion trends.
- Learn basic optical terminology and lens technologies.
- Explain care and maintenance instructions for eyewear products.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (graduate preferred).
- Previous experience in retail, luxury sales, optical stores, or customer service is preferred.
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
