Senior Executive / Executive - R&D; (Process Development)

Role Objective

To support research, process development, optimization, and scale-up activities for oleochemicals, surfactants, esters, emulsifiers, and specialty personal care ingredients while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Development
- Execute laboratory experiments for process development and optimization.
- Conduct synthesis, purification, and evaluation of oleochemicals and specialty ingredients.
- Support development of esters, surfactants, emulsifiers, conditioning agents, and emollients.

Analytical & Technical Activities
- Analyze and interpret data from HPLC, GC, UPLC, FTIR, and related analytical instruments.
- Monitor reaction progress, product quality, and impurity profiles.




- Maintain laboratory records and technical documentation.

Scale-Up Support
- Participate in pilot plant and commercial scale-up activities.
- Support technology transfer and process validation.
- Assist manufacturing teams in troubleshooting process-related issues.

Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare SOPs, batch records, process reports, validation protocols, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, EHS, and laboratory safety standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and Regulatory teams.
- Support current product development and commercialization projects.

- M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Applied Chemistry
- Oleochemical Technology
- Cosmetic Science / Cosmetic Technology
- Industrial Chemistry
- B.Tech Chemical Engineering

- 3-5 years in Process R&D;, Oleochemicals, Personal Care Ingredients, Surfactants, Esters, Emollients, Specialty Chemicals, or Co
