Senior Consultant – Liver Disease Expert

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with deep expertise in liver diseases, particularly MASH/MASLD, to support high-impact competitive intelligence and conference coverage initiatives. The role involves delivering scientific and strategic insights from competitor and market intelligence and global hepatology conferences and translating complex clinical data into actionable intelligence for pharma clients. Candidates with prior onsite conference covering experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead CI desk which comprises tracking and analyzing developments in MASH/MASLD pipelines, clinical trials, and regulatory updates
- Synthesize data from posters, presentations, and KOL discussions into concise, client-ready insights
- Support competitive benchmarking and landscape assessments in hepatology
- Independently develop CI alerts, newsletters, conference readouts, executive summaries, and detailed reports
- Directly engage with client stakeholders to align deliverables with their strategy and priorities
- Leverage digital tools and latest technology for structured intelligence delivery
- Mentor supporting team members and ensure quality and consistency of outputs Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of liver disease therapeutic area, especially MASH/MASLD
- Ability to interpret clinical trial data and translate into strategic insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing deliverables
- High attention to detail with strong analytical rigor
- Experience working in fast-paced, conference-driven environments
- Stakeholder management and collaborative mindset

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MPH or equivalent) in life sciences
- 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical consulting, competitive and market intelligence
- Demonstrated expertise in liver health therapy area (especially MASH/MASLD)




- Prior onsite conference coverage experience with ability to interact with KOLs is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, endpoints, and interpretation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with pharma clients, particularly in hepatology portfolios
- Familiarity with latest AI tools for driving process efficiencies
- Experience managing client engagements or leading project modules
- Strong experience with direct client engagements .
