We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Commercial Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials required for steel manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing steel industry raw materials, robust negotiation abilities, analytical skills, and exposure to import/export procurement processes.

? Key Responsibilities

- Source raw materials such as Iron Ore, Coal, Ferro Alloys, and other direct/indirect materials.
- Plan procurement requirements, prepare budgets, and support funds/LC planning.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Stores teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Manage Purchase Orders, quotations, comparative statements, contracts, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Prepare and maintain procurement MIS, purchase trackers, and inventory-related reports.
- Develop and update procurement SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Coordinate import/export documentation,



customs requirements, and international logistics.
- Analyze raw material market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to support strategic procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal procurement requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate procurement records.

? Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes in the steel manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing Iron Ore, Coal, Ferro Alloys, and other steel raw materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of import/export procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP, Ariba/Sourcing Tools, Advanced Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

? Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Commercial / Procurement, preferably in a steel manufacturing plant.
- Experience handling domestic and international suppliers.
- Exposure to strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of TCO, Strategic Sourcing, and Contract Management will be an added advantage.
