Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Civil Engineer role based in Kolkata.

The Senior Civil

Engineer will oversee civil design and execution for residential projects, including structural layouts, site development, and utility planning. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, codes, and local regulations. The role involves managing stormwater and drainage systems, monitoring construction quality and progress on site, and resolving technical issues that arise during project implementation.

Engineer will also contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices within the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong civil engineering foundation, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills.
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in project Planning for residential and site development projects.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional experience in building or real estate development, preferably in urban environments.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable in India.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use design and CAD software, and prepare technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to solve in office technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Ready to travel across multiple sites.
