Role Description: The Senior C++ Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh It Park. The individual in this role will design, develop, and optimise high-performance C++ applications, with a focus on robust architecture and clean, maintainable code. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, refactoring existing modules, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to define requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable solutions. Additional tasks include performance profiling, debugging,



documentation of technical designs, and mentoring junior engineers to uphold engineering excellence.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in C++ (modern standards such as C++11/14/17), including object-oriented design, templates, STL, and memory management.
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and building large-scale, production-grade applications.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, multithreading, and performance optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with development tools such as version control (Git), build systems (CMake or similar), and debugging/profiling tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or distributed systems concepts is an advantage.
- Exposure to related technologies such as Python, Java, or data science/ML workflows is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
