Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior BMS Firmware Developer with strong experience in Embedded Firmware Development and BMS systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in LVBMS/HVBMS and should be capable of taking ownership of firmware development while guiding the firmware team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for LVBMS and HVBMS.
- Design and implement BMS protection and control algorithms.
- Work on SOC, SOH, cell balancing, current/voltage/temperature monitoring and fault management.
- Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, Timers and Interrupts.
- Develop and maintain Bootloader and Firmware Upgrade mechanisms.
- Work with RTOS/FreeRTOS and develop reliable, non-blocking embedded software.
- Debug firmware and system-level issues using CAN tools, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and firmware validation.
- Analyze field/customer issues and identify the root cause and permanent solution.




- Take complete ownership of assigned firmware modules from requirement to release.
- Guide and mentor junior and mid-level firmware engineers.
- Work closely with Hardware, Testing and System teams for product development and validation.

Required Skills

- 5–7 years of experience in Embedded Firmware Development.
- Strong hands-on experience in LVBMS/HVBMS.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C.
- Good understanding of BMS architecture and protection algorithms.
- Experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C and ADC.
- Experience in Bootloader and Firmware Upgrade.
- Experience with RTOS/FreeRTOS is preferred.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git, code review and static code analysis tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of MISRA-C and ISO 26262 is an added advantage.
- Good communication, leadership and team-guiding skills.
- Solid sense of ownership, responsibility and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience Experience in EV, Energy Storage Systems (ESS)products will be an added advantage.

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Computer Science or related engineering field.
