About the Role
We are looking for a confident, energetic Telecaller – Events & Community Outreach to join our Hyderabad team.
GoAvo.ai works with founders, professionals, technology communities, investors, enterprises and ecosystem partners to build curated events and business communities across India.
This is not a typical call-centre role.
You will speak with founders, CXOs, startup teams, developers and professionals who have applied for, been shortlisted for, or may be relevant for our events. Your job is to have a good conversation, understand their interest, explain the value of the event and help convert the right people into confirmed attendees.
For paid events, this means actively following up with shortlisted candidates and helping move them from “interested” to “registered.”
For invite-only events, this means personally reaching out to relevant people and inviting them to participate.
What You’ll Do
Call shortlisted applicants for GoAvo.ai events and explain why the event is relevant for them.
Follow up with interested prospects until they complete their registration/payment.
Invite founders, professionals and ecosystem members to curated or invite-only events.
Understand the prospect’s profile and quickly identify whether they are a good fit for the event.
Handle common objections around pricing, timing, relevance and event outcomes.
Follow up over phone and WhatsApp when required.
Re-engage people who registered interest but did not complete payment.
Make reminder and confirmation calls before events to improve attendance.
Update lead status, call notes and follow-up actions in our CRM/sheets.
Coordinate with the marketing, community and event teams on priority leads.
Occasionally help with attendee coordination during Hyderabad events.
What We’re Looking For
Strong spoken English and Hindi. Telugu is a plus.
Comfortable s
