We are hiring BCOM FRESHERS for "Customs Clearance & Freight Forwarding Assistant" on behalf of one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and processing shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (B/L), Airway Bill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and warehouse teams for booking and movement of cargo.
- Track shipment status and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
- Help maintain accurate records of shipments and related paperwork.
- Prepare customs clearance documentation under guidance (Import/Export declarations).
- Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHA) / customs brokers to complete clearance formalities.
- Monitor customs clearance status and follow up on any regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and tariff classifications (e.g., HS codes).
- Communicate with clients, carriers, CHA, and internal departments professionally.




- Respond to queries related to shipment schedules, documentation status, and customs procedures.
- Assist in billing and invoicing support for services rendered.

Skills
- Basic knowledge of export/import documentation
- Good communication (verbal & written)
- MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Teamwork and customer service mindset

Work Setting
- Office-based logistics company / freight forwarder / customs house agent
- 6 days a week typical schedule (may vary)

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
