Senior Consultant – Transportation Expert

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Experience: 5-8 Years

Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of urban transportation and mobility initiatives.
Conduct transportation demand assessments, traffic studies, mobility surveys, and feasibility analyses.
Assist in the preparation of mobility plans, comprehensive traffic and transportation plans, and public transport strategies.
Develop policy recommendations and advisory reports for urban transport projects.
Coordinate with government agencies, urban local bodies, consultants, and other stakeholders for project execution.
Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
Analyze transport-related data and prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for decision-makers.
Support development of sustainable mobility solutions including public transit systems, multimodal integration, non-motorized transport, and smart mobility initiatives.
Contribute to preparation of RFPs, DPRs, technical notes, project documentation,



and knowledge products.
Assist in project management, stakeholder consultations, and capacity-building activities.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential -
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Preferred -
Degree in Urban Planning
Master's in Urban & Regional Planning / Transportation Planning

Experience Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant skilled experience in transportation planning and urban mobility projects.
Demonstrated experience in Public Transport and Urban Mobility Projects is mandatory.
Experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring of transportation initiatives.
Experience of working with government agencies, smart city projects, metro rail, bus-based transit systems, urban transport authorities, or infrastructure development projects will be preferred.
Exposure to transport policy, mobility planning, and stakeholder management assignments is desirable.
