SENIOR INTEGRATION CORE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

- You'll be responsible for developing best practices and repeatable procedures for database deployment, as well as for day-to-day operational activities, including break/fix, capacity management, backup and recovery, database replication setup/management, and ongoing database change reviews. You will also work in tandem with the other teams, preparing documentation and specifications as required.
- The shift is 12 AM ET - 8 AM. Weekend on-call availability is required.
- REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in API development.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with iPaaS platforms.
- In-depth understanding of database development tools, ETL, and integration technologies.
- Solid understanding of the overall architecture required to support common schema-based objects used to store data and implement business logic.




- Experience in performing PL/SQL coding assignments, including stand-alone SQL scripting and database-stored code (triggers, packages, procedures, and functions) in compliance with standards and procedures.
- Expertise in setting up, maintaining, and enhancing partition table spaces.
- Ability to provide guidance, oversight, and peer review to more junior database developers.
- Experience in managing and resolving problems on a live production system.
- Solid understanding of SQL performance tuning techniques, including query plan understanding and management, SQL tracing, DB stats, indexing techniques, using AWR reports, etc.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and software development common practices (code reviews, unit testing, etc.).
- Experience with Workato iPaaS.
- Advanced experience with automation of managerial and repetitive DBA tasks.
- Understanding of integration implementation on hybrid infrastructure environments
