Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Architect Scalable Cloud Solutions – Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures utilizing core AWS infrastructure, core infrastructure and networking services, IAAS, PAAS and other managed services.
2. Cloud Infrastructure Design & Security – Define and implement security best practices using AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, IAM policies, SSO and Cloudflare configuration for secure networking.
3. Microservices & API Management – Architect API-driven solutions using AWS API Gateway, AppSync, and Lambda for serverless applications and integrations.
4. Event-Driven & Streaming Architectures – Design event-driven architectures leveraging AWS Managed Kafka, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions.
5. Data Management & Caching – Implement and optimize databases such as RDS for SQL Server, DynamoDB, and caching strategies with AWS Elasticache (Redis/Memcached).
6. Monitoring & Observability – Integrate observability tools such as CloudWatch, and X-Ray for performance monitoring and log analysis. Experience with enterprise observability tools like Splunk,



Datadog etc is added advantage.
7. Backup & Disaster Recovery – Define and implement backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies using AWS Backup, S3 versioning, and cross-region replication.
8. Containerization & Deployment – Design containerized solutions with AWS ECR and deploy/manage workloads using AWS ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
9. Automation & Governance – Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation and manage AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig for automated deployments.
10. Collaboration & Mentorship – Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to align AWS architecture with business objectives.

Critical Skills to Possess:
