Role Description The Senior Admissions Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions journey, including responding to inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, and explaining program offerings and admission criteria. Daily tasks include managing leads, following up with applicants, conducting campus interactions and info sessions, and supporting them from initial interest through application and enrollment.

The role involves collaborating with academic and marketing teams to align messaging, participating in events and outreach activities,



and providing feedback to improve admissions processes and applicant experience.

Counsellor is expected to meet enrollment goals while maintaining a consultative, student-centric approach.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with prospective students, families, and internal teams.
- Customer service skills to provide timely, accurate, and supportive guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Sales skills to manage leads, conduct admission conversations, and convert qualified prospects into enrolled students in a consultative manner.
- Understanding of education as a domain, including higher education processes, student decision-making, and program positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in business, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, education sales, or student recruitment, preferably in a higher education or edtech setting.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, handle multiple priorities, and meet defined targets and timelines.
- Comfort with CRM tools, data tracking, and basic reporting to monitor pipelines and outcomes.
- Professional, inclusive, and student-focused mindset, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
