Role Description -

The Senior Accounts Head is a full-time, in office role based in Jabalpur, responsible for taking complete ownership of the Finance & Accounts function of the company. The role involves leading the accounts team and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations across multiple manufacturing units, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal, and contra entries.

The Senior Accounts Head will be responsible for financial statement preparation and finalization, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, audit coordination, BOM-based costing, inventory accounting, and MIS reporting. The role will also involve monitoring raw material consumption, wastage, WIP and finished goods valuation, production costs, receivables, payables, and working capital.

The candidate will coordinate closely with Stores, Production, Purchase, Sales, Management, Banks, Auditors, CAs, and Government Departments to ensure accurate financial data, effective internal controls, timely compliance, and efficient accounting processes. The Senior Accounts Head will also support management with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, cost analysis, profitability analysis, and financial planning for informed business decision-making.





Qualifications -

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting knowledge, with the ability to prepare, review, interpret, and finalize financial statements.
- Candidates should possess strong Accounts Management skills, including oversight of ledgers, payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, customer/vendor reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting operations.
- Candidates should have practical experience in manufacturing accounting, including BOM-based costing, raw material consumption, wastage analysis, production cost analysis, inventory valuation, WIP, and finished goods accounting.
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, RCM, Income Tax, PF/ESI, statutory filings, reconciliations, assessments, notices, and departmental compliance.
- Candidates should have strong MIS, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, cost-control, and financial analysis skills to support management decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management and Leadership skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, allocate responsibilities, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.
- Candidates should have 8–15 years of overall experience, including at least 5+ years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in a multi-unit manufacturing setup.
- Candidates should have solid proficiency in Tally/ERP and Advanced MS Excel, along with a good understanding of Indian accounting practices, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Candidates should have experience coordinating with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Auditors, Cost Auditors, Banks, CAs, Vendors, Customers, and Government Authorities.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Candidates should hold a B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or a related degree. CA Inter / CMA Inter or other relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
