Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam.

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting.

The position also includes collaborating with project and management teams to provide financial insights and reports for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support project and organizational decision-making.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Understanding of tax laws, statutory compliances, and audit processes relevant to the real estate and construction sector.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in real estate, construction, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Qualified qualification such as CA, CMA, or a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
