Urgently Hiring Packing Operator for Frozen Vegetables Manufacturing Unit

Designation: Packing Operator

Department: Production / Packaging

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Industry Preference: Frozen Vegetables / IQF Foods / Food Processing / FMCG Industry

Reporting To: Shift In-Charge / Production Supervisor

Job Purpose

To operate and monitor packaging machines, ensure accurate packing of frozen vegetable products, maintain product quality, and comply with food safety, hygiene, and production standards while achieving packaging targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Packaging Operations
- Operate packaging machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure proper packing of frozen vegetable products according to product specifications.
- Monitor packaging line performance and maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure correct product weight, sealing, coding, and labeling.
- Achieve shift-wise packaging targets as per production plan.

2. Product Quality Control
- Verify product quality before and during packing operations.




- Check packaging materials for defects or damage.
- Ensure proper sealing and package integrity.
- Identify and report quality deviations to the supervisor.
- Prevent mixing of different products, batches, or grades.

3. Machine Operation & Monitoring
- Operate packaging equipment such as:
- Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) Machines
- Weighing Machines
- Coding Machines
- Sealing Machines
- Metal Detectors
- Monitor machine parameters and report abnormalities.
- Assist maintenance personnel during minor troubleshooting activities.

4. Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Positive Hygiene Practices).
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear required PPE.
- Ensure cleanliness of packaging area and equipment.
- Follow HACCP and food safety requirements.
- Prevent product contamination during packing operations.

5. Packaging Material Handling
- Ensure availability of packaging materials during shift
