Senior Consultant – Interoperability Specialist, Digital Health Consulting (Germany / EU)
The Prospect
As a Senior Consultant – Interoperability Specialist within EY’s EMEIA-based Digital Health Excellence Center (DHEC), you will support healthcare providers, public administrations, and digital health stakeholders across Germany and the EU in designing and delivering interoperable healthcare ecosystems. The role focuses on improving health outcomes and patient experiences by enabling seamless data exchange across clinical, administrative, and digital health platforms. You will work alongside international experts across technology, business, and healthcare to strengthen DHEC’s delivery capabilities in openEHR,
clinical data repositories, and healthcare interoperability.
Role Overview
This role is positioned at Senior Consultant level and requires a strong combination of healthcare interoperability expertise, client-facing consulting skills, and practical delivery experience. You will act as a bridge between clinical, technical, and business stakeholders, helping clients define interoperability priorities, select appropriate standards, design integration approaches, and implement scalable solutions across complex healthcare IT landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Interoperability Consulting
Advise healthcare clients on interoperability strategies, standards, implementation roadmaps, and target-state integration architectures.
Lead or support client workshops with clinical teams, administrators, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to identify interoperability requirements and pain points.
