Role Description
The Assistant Editor/Copy Editor – English Language role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.



The role involves editing and refining English language content for educational books, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in grammar, style, and tone.
Day-to-day responsibilities include copy editing manuscripts, proofreading text, checking facts and references, and aligning content with the company’s editorial standards and curriculum requirements.
The Assistant Editor/Copy Editor collaborates with authors, senior editors, and production teams to resolve language issues, improve readability, and prepare content for final publication.
The role may also include reviewing proofs, suggesting improvements in structure and formatting, and supporting the continuous updating of titles in line with syllabus changes.

Qualifications
Strong command of English Grammar and usage, with the ability to ensure language accuracy and consistency.
Proficient in Text Editing and Editorial work, including restructuring sentences and improving clarity and flow.
