– Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with robust expertise in automation, API testing, and test framework development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation solutions, strong Java programming skills, and a deep understanding of modern test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend testing.

- Implement and enhance BDD (Cucumber) frameworks using Selenium and Java.

- Write and maintain clear, reusable, and scalable test cases using Gherkin language.

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure quality across the SDLC.

- Perform functional, regression,



and integration testing across multiple platforms.

- Execute and maintain API testing and automation (REST, SOAP, Postman, RestAssured, etc.).

- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolutions.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning and reviews.

- (Good to have) Contribute to performance testing initiatives using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

- Ensure best practices for test automation and CI/CD integration are followed.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
