Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation, configuration, and support. The ideal candidate should possess strong business process knowledge in sales and distribution, integration expertise with cross-functional modules, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
- Review end-to-end configuration and customization of SAP SD modules based on business needs.
- Lead workshops and discussions with stakeholders to understand sales and distribution processes and recommend SAP best practices.
- Support integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, FI, and WM.
- Conduct and lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go-live and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and configuration issues within SAP SD.
- Ensure seamless integration with other modules and third-party tools.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer sessions and end-user training as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of sales processes including order-to-cash (OTC), pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
- Experience in integration with cross-functional modules such as MM, PP, FI, and WM.
- Expertise in pricing procedures, output determination, copy controls, account determination, and delivery processing.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP certification in SD (preferred).
- Experience in S/4HANA O2C.
- Prior experience in the chemical industry will be highly preferred.

· Strong understanding of industry-specific Order-to-Cash processes such as:
- - Batch management and traceability
- Intercompany and third-party sales
- Make-to-Order (MTO) and Variant Configuration
- Complex pricing, rebates, and contract management
- Regulatory and tax compliance (GST/VAT, export documentation, e-invoicing)

- Exposure to global SD operations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Sales & Distribution sales, or related field.
- Master's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
