Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Record to Report (RTR) Functional Analyst / Tester to provide offshore functional support for SAP Finance processes in a global manufacturing environment. This role will support production issues, enhancements, functional analysis, testing, and business process validation while working closely with onsite teams, business users, developers, and integration teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) processes and experience supporting functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an SAP RTR Functional Analyst with experience supporting finance business processes in a production support environment. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing functional issues, validating accounting transactions, supporting testing activities, and collaborating with global onsite and offshore teams. Experience in manufacturing, SAP S/4HANA, and enterprise testing tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

12+ years of SAP functional experience.

5+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) or RTR functional experience.

Experience supporting SAP Finance production support, enhancements, or implementation projects.

Experience participating in System Integration Testing (SIT) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes.

Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with global onsite and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial organizations.





Knowledge of month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation.

Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

SAP FI/CO certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

Provide functional support for SAP RTR production issues, incidents, and service requests.

Analyze business requirements and recommend SAP Finance solutions.

Support functional configuration and testing of RTR business processes.

Perform impact analysis for enhancements and business changes.

Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and integrations.

Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams.

Support system upgrades, releases, deployments, and production validation.

Participate in defect triage and support business users during issue resolution.

Prepare functional documentation, business process flows, and knowledge transfer materials.

Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore project teams.

Testing Responsibilities The candidate should have experience supporting business testing activities, including:

Review business and functional requirements.

Develop or review test scenarios and test cases.

Prepare and validate financial test data.

End-to-End Testing

Regression Testing

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Validate financial postings and accounting results.

Reconcile financial transactions across integrated systems.

Document test execution evidence.

Log, validate, and retest defects.

Support deployment validation and production verification.

Working knowledge of SAP RTR integrations with one or more of the following:

Basic understanding of IDocs, RFCs, APIs, interface monitoring, and financial data integration is preferred.
