SAP SCM EWM Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP EWM Techno-Functional Consultant with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Supply Chain Management, specifically in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The ideal candidate should possess a solid blend of functional knowledge and technical expertise, with proven experience in designing and implementing integrations/interfaces with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle SAP EWM implementations incidents, service requests, rollouts, and minor projects
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
- Configure SAP EWM processes like - Inbound & Outbound deliveries, Internal Warehouse Processes, RF Framework, IM/EWM integration etc.
- Design and develop interfaces between SAP and third-party systems such as: Gate management system, weighbridges, third party dispatch system etc.
- Work on integration technologies like - IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, OData services, Middleware tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, TM, and PP modules.
- Provide technical guidance for enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom developments.




- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to EWM and integrations.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and go-live support.
- Ensure documentation of processes, configurations, and developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7–10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EWM.
- Proven experience in Techno-Functional roles with end-to-end implementation exposure.
- Strong knowledge of EWM integration with SAP ERP/S4HANA.
- Hands-on experience in interface development and integration with third-party systems.
- Technical skills in – ABAP, IDoC etc.
- Experience with middleware tools (SAP PI/PO or CPI preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse business processes and supply chain operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with S/4HANA EWM (Embedded or Decentralized).
- Exposure to automation systems (ASRS, conveyors, robotics integration).
- Knowledge of RF, PPF, BRF+, and EWM MFS (Material Flow System).
- SAP certification in EWM or SCM.
