Role: SAP Project Manager – S/4HANA & ECC Upgrade and Support

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with robust expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments and proven experience managing SAP upgrade, implementation, migration, enhancement, and application support projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, planning, governance, risk management, and coordination across SAP functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end SAP projects involving S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
- Lead SAP upgrade, migration, rollout, enhancement, implementation, and production support projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Manage project scope, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, vendors, and senior management.
- Drive SAP upgrade activities including planning, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
- Ensure effective coordination of SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and delivery dependencies.
- Manage application support/AMS activities and ensure adherence to SLA and service delivery commitments.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee meetings, and status reviews.




- Manage third-party vendors and external implementation/support partners.
- Ensure proper project documentation, change management, and quality processes.
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP landscapes and business processes.

Required Skills

- Strong experience as an SAP Project Manager / SAP Program Manager.
- Hands-on project delivery experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
- Proven experience managing SAP upgrade and support projects.
- Good understanding of SAP implementation and upgrade lifecycle.
- Experience managing SAP functional and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and production support.
- Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with global teams and multiple business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate / Agile / Waterfall project methodologies is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum certification is a plus.
- SAP S/4HANA project or implementation certification is an advantage.
- Experience managing large-scale SAP transformation or migration programs is preferred.
