:

SAP MDG Support Senior Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and support the MDG platform, and global business units in resolving MDG related issues, and ensuring the integrity, consistency, and quality of master data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle L2 support issues across MDG domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance, ensuring incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Investigate and resolve MDG change request issues, including workflow errors, stuck approvals, validation failures, and UI‑related problems.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and collaborate with MDG and technical teams to implement long‑term corrective solutions.
- Support data replication from MDG to ECC / S/4HANA and other downstream systems, analysing replication failures and data inconsistencies.
- Work closely with business users and data stewards to resolve data issues and ensure governance processes are correctly followed.
- Support MDM initiatives such as data standardization, enrichment, cleansing, and master data lifecycle management.
- Monitor and support data quality rules, validations, and derivations, and assist in fine‑tuning them as business requirements evolve.
- Prepare and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles, and participate in release support, cutover, and hyper care activities to ensure smooth production transitions.

Required Skills & Experience:





- 6+ years of hands‑on experience working with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) in a techno‑functional role.
- Solid understanding of MDG architecture and end‑to‑end master data processes, including data governance, approval workflows, and system integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MDG core concepts, including:
- Change Request types and MDG workflows,
- Agent determination& approvals,
- Data models, entity types, and attributes,
- Field properties,
- Validations and derivations,
- BRF+ rules framework

Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving:

- Master data inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality issues
- Workflow failures, stuck change requests, and approval issues
- Validation and derivation errors

- Support Data Replication Framework (DRF) from MDG to ECC/S4 or downstream systems. Analyse and resolve replication failures, data inconsistencies, and interface issues on IDocs and SOA.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- SAP ERP Logistics knowledge in customer master data, Vendor and materials
- Having hands on experience in MDG validation and derivation, Email notification, Replication enhancement, UI changes, Field Properties, Custom Enhancements etc.
- Support user queries and functional clarifications related to MDG processes.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in release support, cutover support, and hypercare activities.
