Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors for timely delivery and cost optimization

Procurement Process:
- Issue purchase orders as per approved requisitions.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials without compromising on quality or compliance.

Inventory Coordination:
- Coordinate with stores, production, and quality departments to monitor inventory levels.
- Maintain minimum stock levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking.

Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure all purchases comply with cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and internal SOPs.

Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Assist in budgeting and cost control initiatives by tracking procurement expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.

Quality Coordination:




- Ensure procurement of approved materials from qualified vendors.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure all materials meet required standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and industry-specific procurement practices.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Other: Ability to work in a quick-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is preferred.
