About the Team
The Risk team at Navi is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the organization. The Credit Intelligence team, part of the Risk function at Navi, focuses on studying granular customer level data to gather deep insights that feedback into improving credit underwriting, as well as any strategic initiatives to enhance user engagement.

About the Role
As part of the Credit Intelligence team, you will work on understanding customer behaviour and identifying risks and opportunities across lending and other products. The role involves analysing case-level and portfolio-level data to generate insights that improve underwriting, product decisions, and overall business performance.
You will work closely with teams across Product, Analytics, and Risk to translate these insights into actionable changes. This includes identifying gaps in current policies, building new signals or cohorts, and supporting their implementation.
The role requires a mix of detailed case-level analysis and broader portfolio thinking,



along with the ability to work with different data sources such as bureau, bank statements, and internal behavioural data. You will also get exposure to using AI/LLM-based tools to scale analysis and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Lending, Product, Analytics and Policy teams to identify emerging risks and business opportunities through deep portfolio and case-level analysis
Lead detailed reviews of default cases to identify underwriting gaps, risky behaviours, and current negative signals
Analyse customer behaviour across lending and UPI business, along with borrower and portfolio data (bureau, bank statements, SMS, behavioural data) to generate actionable insights on risk, retention, engagement, and monetisation
Identify policy implementation gaps and recommend improvements in underwriting strategies, approval logic, and feature usage
Drive end-to-end execution of recommendations, including co
