Position: Senior Information Scientist (Curation Expert)- Materials Science (Entry Level Role)

Location: Pune

As an information scientist, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and curating complex scientific data across materials science domains such as polymer chemistry, metallurgy, nanomaterials, ceramics, composites, and semiconductors, from scientific literature, patents, technical datasheets, and safety documents. You will collaborate with other curators to ensure comprehensive coverage and data quality. You will collaborate with curation teams to ensure comprehensive coverage, data quality, and database integrity supporting Research and Development across the materials sciences industry.

Job Responsibilities

Data Curation and Extraction: Systematically search and identify relevant information including chemical structures, synthesis routes, experimental procedures, physicochemical and mechanical properties, processing parameters, and measurement data -from scientific literature, patents, TDS/SDS, regulatory/compliance documents, and scientific databases. Extract and curate data related to various materials science domains including polymer chemistry, metallurgy, nanomaterials, ceramics, composites, and semiconductors, etc.
Data Annotation and Analysis: Annotate curated data with materials-specific context: composition, microstructure, synthesis conditions, processing history, property measurements, and application attributes. Analyze datasets to identify trends, structure-property relationships, and cross
