The Video Editor role at Bigfoot Productions is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos for commercials, digital films, brand films, and corporate films, while ensuring the final output aligns with the project brief and creative direction.
The editor will be responsible for organizing and managing footage, selecting and assembling shots,



creating strong edits, working with sound and music, adding transitions and visual effects, and collaborating closely with directors, producers, cinematographers, and the wider creative team.
The role also requires a strong working knowledge of AI-powered editing and content creation tools, and the ability to incorporate AI into the post-production workflow wherever it can improve the quality, efficiency, or creative output of a project.
A good understanding of motion graphics and animation is also essential. The candidate should be comfortable creating and integrating titles, typography, transitions, lower thirds, graphic elements, animated compositions, and other visual effects into their edits. They should be able to handle a decent level of motion graphics independently, rather than relying entirely on a separate motion graphics artist.
