Education - Diploma in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or a closely related discipline.
Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience

Role purpose
Operate and support the Electronics (EC) Makerspace on a daily basis so that learners can safely build, test and demonstrate working solutions. The instructor will prepare sessions, demonstrate tools, provide first-line troubleshooting, maintain assets and records, and help project teams convert ideas into reliable prototypes.

Key responsibilities
Prepare equipment, software images, datasets, consumables and safety checks before every scheduled laboratory session.
Demonstrate tools and workflows; assist students, faculty, research scholars and approved startup/project teams during hands-on work.
Troubleshoot first-level hardware, software, network and integration issues; document incidents and escalate unresolved failures with evidence.




Maintain equipment logs, calibration/maintenance records, checkout registers, software-licence records, consumable stock and asset labels.
Follow approved SOPs, access controls, EHS rules and emergency procedures; stop unsafe or unauthorized work immediately.
Create quick-start guides, experiment sheets, demo setups and reusable reference projects aligned to courses, hackathons and industry challenges.
Capture utilization, learner participation, session completion, equipment downtime and prototype progress in the CoE tracker.
Support open-house events, demonstrations, bootcamps and visits while protecting equipment, data, IP and confidential project material.

The candidate must be able to set up, operate, demonstrate and perform first-level troubleshooting on the core equipment below.
