Financial Reporting & Closing: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and lead month-end/year-end close processes.Reconciliation & Ledger Management: Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable, and maintain accurate financial records.Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze financial statement variances, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations (e.g., TDS, GST), and coordinate with external auditors.Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes, improve internal controls, and update accounting systems for better efficiency.Supervision: Oversee staff accountants, assign tasks, and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.Key RequirementsExperience:



Generally 3-5+ years of accounting experience, often in a senior or similar role.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and, depending on the region, statutory regulations like GST or TDS.Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication
