Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant with 4 to 7 years of experience in enterprise application development, specifically on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model). The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native business applications that extend the digital core of SAP S/4HANA and integrate with modern cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using SAP BTP, CAPM, and Node.js / Java.
- Build data models using Core Data Services (CDS) and expose services via OData / REST APIs.
- Configure and integrate SAP BTP services such as HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Destination, and Connectivity.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and clients to design technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Develop Fiori/UI5 frontends integrated with CAPM backend services.
- Ensure application quality through automated testing and code reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes in Cloud Foundry or Kyma runtime environments.




- Follow SAP's clean core and side-by-side extension principles.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience:

- 3 – 6 years of experience in software development, with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP & CAPM.
- Strong understanding of CAPM architecture, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP BTP services.
- Experience in Node.js or Java, CDS, and OData V4.
- Familiarity with SAP Extension Suite and cloud-native development patterns.

Skills:

- Proficient in Git-based version control, API development, and SAP UI5 integration.
- Robust analytical and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in agile project teams.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP Certification in SAP BTP Extension Developer or related credentials.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker).
- Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is a plus.
- Prior consulting experience or involvement in S/4HANA extension projects.
