: SAP Basis Architect – SAP SaaS

Role Summary

Own the architecture, security, and operations of SAP SaaS platforms (e.g., S/4HANA Cloud, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, SAC, SAP BTP). Define tenant/landscape strategy, ensure secure integrations and reliable releases, and drive compliance and cost efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

- Define target architecture, tenant strategy, and standards for SAP SaaS.
- Govern identity, SSO, and provisioning with IAS/IPS and enterprise IdPs.
- Lead integrations using SAP Integration Suite; standardize APIs/events.
- Orchestrate releases and changes; maintain runbooks and cutover plans.
- Implement monitoring and incident/problem management via Cloud ALM.
- Enforce security baselines, audit logging, and compliance controls.
- Oversee data flows, retention,



and privacy across products.
- Track licenses/consumption; optimize costs and vendor engagements.

Required Experience

- 8–12 years in SAP Basis/platform; 3+ years architecting SAP SaaS.
- Hands-on with S/4HANA Cloud and at least two of SuccessFactors/Ariba/BTP/SAC.
- Robust in SSO (SAML/OAuth), RBAC/SoD, and SCIM provisioning.
- Proven integration design with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and API governance.
- Practical experience with Cloud ALM, CBC, and SaaS transport/change patterns.
- Familiar with ITIL and controls in regulated environments.
