Role Description The Salesperson at Kartoon Cafe will focus on engaging guests, promoting menu items, and driving in-house sales through exceptional customer service. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, explaining menu offerings and promotions, upselling food and beverage items, and ensuring a smooth ordering experience. The role also involves handling customer inquiries, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation at the counter or sales area.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi,



requiring a consistent presence during assigned shifts. The Salesperson will actively contribute to building customer loyalty and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and a friendly, professional manner.
- Sales and upselling abilities, with confidence in promoting menu items, offers, and add-ons to guests.
- Clear verbal communication skills in English and local language; ability to explain menu options and respond to questions.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with accuracy in billing, payment processing, and order recording.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as required.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and floor staff.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring a clean, well-presented sales area and orderly workflow.
- Prior experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or sales is an advantage.
